Delta Alpha Pi was established in 2018 and is an honor society founded to recognize high-achieving students with disabilities who are attending colleges and universities as undergraduate or graduate students. The mission of Delta Alpha Pi at the University of Florida is to foster a supportive community for high achieving students with disabilities. Delta Alpha Pi aims to facilitate conversations on disability and accessibility, promote self-advocacy, and engage in community events on disability-related topics.

Delta Alpha Pi hosts a banquet at the end of each semester celebrating induction and graduating seniors. In order for members to be inducted, they must meet a minimum point requirement by attending DAPi events and general body meetings.
