The UF Disability Resource Center provides accommodations and success appointments to assist and support students with disabilities. If you have a DRC student in your class or that you work with that would benefit from these support services or if you have a student that you would like to refer to our office, please submit a referral below.
This referral form is recommended for:
- A student who is struggling in Class
- If a student, may need academic accommodations
- A request from a family member for the DRC to reach out to a student
The DRC can work with Students around:
- Discuss academic & housing accommodations around disability related barriers
- Success Appointments to work on skills including:
- Executive Functioning Skills, i.e. Time Management
- Reading Efficiency
- Test preparation
- Study Skills
- Test Anxiety
- Connect student to other campus resources
- Even if a student does not have a disability, we can help to connect with resources to begin process of diagnosis
- Self- advocacy support
- Increase knowledge and understanding of disability and academic impact
- Post-Graduation Planning
- Professional school entrance exam accommodations
- Discuss transitioning from academics to workplace
