Student Government Sponsored Organization Accommodation Request

The Disability Resource Center is committed to facilitating access for students with disabilities. Student Government has partnered with the DRC to offset the costs of accommodations for Student Government organization events. In order best facilitate access, SG organizations need to complete the form below to request interpreting or live captioning accommodations for their event.

Please note that the DRC contracts interpreting and live captioning utilizing outside interpreting agencies. These agencies require at least 2 weeks advance notice in order to locate and adequately prepare for the event.

In order for interpreters to adequately prepare for a job, any additional materials must be supplied at the time of the request. Materials include agendas/programs, copies of materials being interpreted (speech, power points, scripts, set lists, song lyrics ((if not readily available)), etc.).
