The DRC offers a variety of appointments to meet with students, faculty, and staff. Below is a detailed list of the types of appointments the DRC offers along with the DRC staff member who offers these types of meetings. Connect with staff from the Disability Resource Center by scheduling an appointment through our online Microsoft Bookings system. The DRC is offering online appointments via Microsoft Teams and in-person that follow safety guidelines that are outlined by UF. If you are unable to schedule an appointment through the Bookings system, please call the DRC at 352-392-8565 to schedule the appointment.

    On their Bookings page, click on the type of appointment with specific meeting location (Online via Microsoft Teams or In-person in the DRC’s Office) you would like to schedule.

    On their Bookings page, select the date and time that you would like to schedule the appointment. The DRC’s staff members availability automatically updates as appointments are scheduled.

    On their Bookings page, add your details that are required to schedule the appointment (name, email, address, phone number, and UFID).

    Click “Book.”


You will receive a confirmation email that provides any additional information regarding the meeting that you may need. Also, you will receive a reminder the day before the meeting via the email that you provided. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please utilize your email confirmation to adjust your meeting as needed.

Appointment Types

Description: Inquiry appointments are for prospective students and current UF students who have questions regarding the Disability Resource Center. Learning Specialists will meet with you to discuss the DRC’s registration process, student involvement opportunities, and campus resources.

Duration: 20 minutes

Description: Learning Specialists can meet with UF students after they have completed the pre-registration form and been assigned to their specific Learning Specialists. During the initial registration appointment, Learning Specialists will engage in a structured conversation with students to explore previous educational experiences, past use of accommodations, and current barriers in the academic setting.

Duration: 40 minutes

COVID Temporary Adjustment’s Initial Registration Appointment: Beth Clifford

Description: Learning Specialists can meet with their current DRC students to discuss possible changes in accommodations based on barriers they may be experiencing in their learning environments. Also, Learning Specialists can provide resources to their current DRC students to assist in the areas of: Executive Functioning, Test preparation, Study Skills, Note Taking Skills, and Test Anxiety.

Duration: 20 minutes

Description: Learning Specialists can meet with UF faculty and UF campus partners to discuss facilitating access and accommodations. Faculty can meet with Learning Specialists to ask questions regarding accommodation guide sheets and facilitating accommodations. Moreover, faculty and campus partners can meet with Learning Specialists to discuss universal design and inclusion.

Duration: 20 minutes

Description: The Assistive Technology (AT) Liaison can meet with DRC students, faculty, and staff to discuss and demonstrate the following available AT: Kurzweil, JAWs, MAGic, Dragon, LiveScribe pens, Otter.ai, and more. The AT Liaison can meet with students to discuss available AT equipment for loan and the AT scholarship available to current DRC students to assist with the costs of technology to meet their access needs.

Assistive Technology for Testing Consultation: Priscilla Adams

G-ATR Instructional Meeting

Description: Priscilla Adams, the Coordinator for Testing Services will meet with you to discuss the procedures for uploading testing information into the portal, submitting ATRs, and answer any questions that students or instructors may have about the G-ATR Testing Portal.

Instructor Testing Meeting

Description: This appointment is for instructors (faculty/staff) who are seeking guidance with providing testing accommodations. Priscilla Adams, the Coordinator for Testing Services, will meet with you to provide resources for accessible online testing or how to schedule in person testing at the DRC.

Student Testing Meeting

Description: This appointment is for students who have been approved for testing accommodations by their Learning Specialist and are registered with the DRC. Please submit your accommodation letter before scheduling this appointment or set up appointment with your Learning Specialist for guidance with accommodation letters. Priscilla Adams, the Coordinator for Testing Services, will meet with you to answer any questions related to receiving testing accommodations or how to schedule in person testing at the DRC.
